Hi! I'm Claire. I've been making drawings and multimedia crafts that tell a story since I was a young girl. One of my earliest anthropomorphized protagonists and obsessions, Platti the Platypus, was based on the mini Beanie Baby I treasured from a McDonald's Happy Meal. :) (You can find a few Platti vignettes on my site.) My inclination to create animal characters with charming quirks and real spirit hasn't changed a bit in the decades since. Sparking children's wonder with these characters is my loftiest goal and greatest achievement. I find inspiration tutoring young readers, fostering dogs and coloring with my nephew, Trey.
